Getting started
An account takes a minute and needs only an email address. The free plan is enough to make real papers.
- Open the app and choose Create account. Enter your name as it should appear on exported papers, your email and a password of at least 8 characters.
- Sign in. You land on the Dashboard, which shows your plan, your recent papers and the New paper button.
- Forgot the password later? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page; the reset link arrives by email and is valid for one hour.
Tip: The name on your account is printed on every exported paper. Change it any time under Account.
How to
Create a question paper
Pick the syllabus, set the marks and let the app draft the paper. Generation takes up to a minute.
- Click New paper on the Dashboard or the Papers page.
- Under Syllabus choose the Board, Class and Subject, then tick one or more Chapters. Chapters follow the current NCERT textbooks.
- Under Paper settings enter the Total marks (5 to the cap your plan allows; the app builds sections of 1, 2, 3 and 5-mark questions). Leave Duration empty to set it from the marks.
- Choose a Thinking-skill mix (how many remembering, understanding and applying questions) and a Difficulty mix. The defaults follow the usual CBSE pattern.
- Press Generate paper. When it finishes you are taken to the paper to review it.
Tip: More chapters means fewer questions per chapter. For a focused chapter test pick one or two chapters; for a term paper pick the whole term.
How to
Review and edit questions
Every question is a draft until you have read it. Edit anything in place; the paper is saved as you go.
- Open a paper. Questions are grouped into sections by marks; each card shows the question, its options, the thinking skill and difficulty.
- Click Show answer on a card to see the answer and explanation without leaving the page.
- Click Edit to change the question text, options, marks, thinking skill, difficulty, answer or explanation, then Save.
- Watch the Marks check panel on the right: it compares the requested total with the current total so the paper still adds up after your edits.
Tip: If you change the marks on one question, balance it on another so the total matches the marks printed on the paper.
How to
Replace a question
Do not like a question? Swap it for a new one of the same type and marks instead of rewriting it.
- On the question card click Replace.
- The app generates a fresh question with the same marks, question type and chapter, and drops it in the same slot. The answer and explanation are replaced too.
- Not right yet? Replace it again, or click Edit and adjust the wording yourself.
Tip: Each replacement uses one generation from your daily allowance, the same as a new paper.
How to
Export the paper, answer key and marking scheme
Three documents from one paper, as PDF or Word. They are rebuilt after every edit, so what you download always matches the screen.
- Open the paper and find the Export panel on the right.
- Choose a document: Question paper (for students), Answer key (answers and explanations) or Marking scheme (points and marks per question).
- Click PDF or Word. The file is prepared and opens in a new tab; save or print it from there.
- Edited something afterwards? Export again; the earlier file is discarded and a fresh one is built.
Tip: Word export lets you add your school header and logo before printing. It is included in the Pro plan.
How to
Reuse, duplicate or delete papers
Papers stay in your account. Reopen them, copy them for a new batch, or remove the ones you no longer need.
- Open Papers in the top bar. Every paper you generated is listed with its class, subject, marks and date.
- Click a paper to open it for review, editing and export.
- To make a set-B or next year’s version, open the paper and click Duplicate. The copy opens at once; replace a few questions and export.
- To remove a paper and its exported files, open it and click Delete paper. This cannot be undone.
Tip: Keep one reviewed paper per chapter as a template and duplicate it each year.
How to
Account, plan and password
Everything about your login lives under Account. Your plan and daily limits are on the Dashboard.
- Open Account in the top bar.
- Your details: change the name printed on papers or the email you sign in with, then Save details.
- Change password: enter the current password and the new one twice. You stay signed in on this device; every other device is signed out.
- Your plan on the Dashboard shows papers per day, questions per paper and the renewal date. Upgrade from the Pricing page.
- Delete account removes your account and every paper you generated, after you confirm with your password.
Tip: Daily limits reset at midnight IST. If you hit one, finish the paper tomorrow or move to a plan with higher limits.
Fix it
Something is not working
Most problems clear in a minute. If not, tell us from the app and we will look at the exact paper.
- Generation failed or timed out: wait a moment and press Generate paper again. Papers with many chapters and 80 marks take the longest; nothing is charged for a failed attempt.
- A chapter is missing: the app lists exactly the chapters available for that class and subject. Ask for the missing one from the Feedback page with the class, subject and chapter name as in the NCERT textbook.
- The export did not open: allow pop-ups for the app in your browser, then click PDF or Word again. The file also opens if you click the button a second time.
- Signed out unexpectedly: sessions last 30 days, and changing your password signs out other devices. Sign in again; your papers are safe.
- Daily limit reached: the Dashboard shows your plan’s papers and questions per day. Limits reset at midnight IST.
- Anything else: open Feedback in the app, choose A problem, and describe what you did and what you expected. Your account email is attached automatically, so we can reply.
Tip: For a problem with one paper, mention its title. We can open the same paper on our side.
Still stuck?
The support page lists common problems with their fixes, and the Feedback page inside the app sends a message straight to us.
