Privacy Policy

Technify Guru (“we”, “us”) provides AI Paper Maker, a web application that helps teachers generate, edit and export question papers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to the website at technifyguru.com and the application.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Papers you generate: the class, subject, chapters, marks and settings you choose, and the questions, answers and marking schemes produced and edited in your account.
• Usage counts: the number of papers and questions generated per day, used to apply the limits of your plan.
• Plan and billing status: which plan you are on and when it expires. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type and request logs kept for security and to keep the service running.

2. How we use it

• To run your account, generate papers and let you reopen and export them.
• To apply plan limits and, for paid plans, to bill you.
• To send service emails such as password resets. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
• To keep the service secure and to understand which features are used, in aggregate.

3. AI providers

To generate questions, the chapter names, topics, your paper settings and, when you replace a question, the text of the existing questions are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini). We do not send your name or email address with these requests. The provider processes the content to return a response and is bound by its own terms. Generated content is not used by us to train models.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the product (hosting, email delivery, payments, the AI provider above), each limited to what their service needs, and when required by law.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Exported documents are stored under links that are not guessable; treat a link you share as giving access to that document. We keep your data for as long as your account exists.

6. Your choices

• You can edit your name and email in the app at any time.
• You can delete any paper, which also removes its exported files.
• You can delete your account from the app. This removes your account, your papers and your usage records.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data or raise a concern by writing to contact@technifyguru.com.

7. Cookies

The application uses a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. The website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Children

The service is for teachers and tutors. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes and contact

We will post changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Questions go to contact@technifyguru.com. Technify Guru is operated from India and this policy is governed by Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force.
